Our Special Projects Committee is responsible for overseeing and managing all of the fund raising events organized by our club. The director of Special Projects reports to the Board of Directors each month on the progress of each fund raising event. We run about nine fund raising events, or projects throughout the Rotary year and the chairman of each event sits as a member of the Special Projects Committee.
The various chairpersons report their activities at the monthly committee meetings and the director then reports these activities to the Board of Directors. This way our club can be assured that our Board of Directors and our general membership are fully informed of how and when a fund raising event is progressing and how successful the project becomes financially.
One hundred percent of all funds raised by our club, is used to support community projects, organizations, and initiatives both locally and internationally. None of the money we raise is used in any way to support the running of our club.

Our club raises approximately $250,000 per year. Aside from making money to support worthwhile charitable causes, our most important focus is on having fun while we run our special projects.
