Members of the Environmental Committee have been involved over several years with the City of Barrie and the Township of Springwater to rejuvenate the Portage Route, Fort Willow and Willow Creek.
Interpretive signage and stone benches along the Portage have been provided by this Club.
An “Adopt the Trail Clean-up” campaign with the assistance of a local high school was pursued and implemented for Willow Creek, beginning at Little Lake.
