Club's Waterfront Contributions Continue with the Military History Park

The Military History Park joins the Sesquicentennial clock, restoration of Kidd's Creek, Rotary fountain at Centennial Beach, Trans Canada Pavilion, Rotary Islands, SouthShore Centre renovation and the planting of hundreds of trees as Rotary Club of Barrie waterfront enhancement projects. The Military Park project was kicked off in 2006 by club members Arch Brown and Aber Abercrombie, and opened October 27, 2017.

We look forward to working on the additional features that are planned for the park but in the meantime we will take pride in this beautiful space and to both learn and reflect on the men and women who valiantly fought for our country and personified the Rotary motto "Service Above Self".
