Get Your Piece of Barrie's Latest Landmark

January 18, 2018

Did you know that our club built the fountain at Centennial Beach to commemorate Canada's 100th birthday in 1967? We and the other Barrie Rotary clubs combined to do it again for Canada's sesquicentennial, or 150th birthday, by erecting a post clock at the waterfront at the foot of Bayfield Street. The cost of the clock was paid for by the sale of commemorative bricks surrounding its base.

Due to overwhelming response, we are expanding the brick walkway. Recognize your family, friends, lost loved ones and your business by buying a granite brick. The bricks make wonderful gifts that will last for many decades. A commemorative certificate will be provided to you to recognize your contribution. There are only 500 bricks available. The price of each engraved brick is $150. ( Tax receipt available ) Go to buyabrick.net to order yours!
